Time to get organized

You’ve decided to challenge yourself or your friends by trying to reach HELVETREIS’ Top 10, probably the most challenging block puzzle game. It’s a good decision, not an easy one, but don’t worry, it can be done! 

Here’s our advice on how to get there:

Start your game at level 9 or 10, so that you collect your 1st million points when you’ve completed level 10! Until then, it’s easy.

Then comes the tricky part: you have to make it from level 11 to level 15 without losing. The blocks are bigger, they fall faster, but luckily the double bonus is there to help you keep your stack as low as possible! Continue with the same strategy that has made you so successful so far: stack the E’s and S’s vertically and against the walls of the game, trying to get as few holes as possible in the middle of the stack, because as you’ll have noticed, using the bonus against the walls is much easier than having to aim for a particular column in the center of the game!

Once you’ve passed through this long and challenging tunnel, which requires unflagging concentration and a lot of calmness, a new challenging stage will present itself, but don’t worry, you’re almost there! When you complete level 15, you’ll earn 2 million extra points! At this stage, your score should be close to 4 million points, and as you can see, the Top 10 is getting really close.

Time to choose the right strategy

Now you need to be strategic about the time you spend above level 15. Here, it’s a triple bonus that will help you fill in all the gaps you’ll inevitably leave behind. Make sure you line up the holes vertically to maximize the triple bonus. The more lines you clear, the more points you score, so there are 2 possible strategies:

– The little by little strategy: clear all possible lines, even one at a time, to keep your stack as small as possible. This is the tortoise strategy.
